Aerial Yoga Etiquette & Policies
Aerial Yoga Etiquette
• Please be on time.
• Bring your yoga mat or feel free to borrow one of ours at no charge.
• Remove shoes and socks before entering the practice room.
• Remove all sharp jewelry, especially sharp rings and bracelets, before entering the practice room.
• Do not wear lotion, perfume, long finger or toenails, or any clothing or jewelry that could get snagged in the fabric.
• Wear comfortable form-fitting clothing that covers your armpits and knees. You may wish to bring a towel for padding until you are used to the pressure of the fabric.
• Wear clean clothing and deoderant to help keep the hammocks clean.
• Silence your cell phone.
• Let the instructor know if you have any physical concerns or restrictions before class starts.
• Listen to your body and remember to breathe!
• Have fun!
Class Policies
In order for us to provide a consistently high level of service to our students including small class sizes with lots of personalized instruction, please be aware of our policies regarding single class reservations and class passes.
• Students who register and pay in advance are given first priority. Remaining spots are offered on a first-come, first served basis. Please arrive on time!
• If you must cancel a paid reservation, you may cancel in writing through email at least 12 hours before the scheduled class time and not be charged. Within 12 hours of class start, you may cancel by emailing us. You will only be charged if your spot cannot be filled in that time.
• There are no refunds on class packages or drop-ins. Class passes are non-transferrable and may not be shared.
• Important note on expired classes: Please note that 5 and 10 class passes do expire! Our schedule is set partially based on how many passes we have sold and how many students we expect, so we must enforce this policy. However, if you buy a new pass of equal or greater value to your expired pass, then all unused expired classes will be transfered to the new pass. Please note that expiration dates still apply to the new pass, including all transfered classes.
Workshop Policies
Special events and workshops (anything listed on our "workshop" page) are handled a little differently than regular drop-in classes. Please be aware of the following policies regarding workshop registration.
• Advance registration and pre-payment is required. Regular class cards may not be used for workshops or series, unless explicitely stated otherwise.
• If fewer than 3 students pre-register for any workshop or series, that workshop or series may be canceled and any registered students will be notified in advance and will receive full refunds.
• If you expect to miss a class in a series, please inquire at least 24 hours ahead about make-up options. (No-shows will not be offered a make-up class.)
• Full refund will be offered if you cancel more than 2 weeks ahead of time. Class credit will be offered if you cancel more than 1 week ahead of time. Cancellations made within 3 days of the starting date will receive class credit only if their spot can be filled. Cancellations of less than that (including no-shows) will receive no refund.
