Aerial Movement Science: The Shoulder Complex

Come learn basic shoulder anatomy and physiology as they relate to your aerial practice.

Understanding proper movement pathways will lead to more safe and effective strengthening and stretching, improved performance, and reduced risk of injury. Common issues and prehabilitation exercises will also be discussed!

Presented by doctors of physical therapy with circus experience!

Lindsey Morgan, PT, DPT, OMT-C: Lindsey is an aerial and acro balance performer and instructor. She has a BS in Exercise Science, received her Doctor of Physical Therapy from MUSC in 2011, and has a background in gymnastics and dance.

Rebecca Angles, PT, DPT, CSCS: Rebecca is the owner of Go the Distance Physical Therapy, specializing in treating youth and adult athletes. She performed in the Gamma Phi Circus at Illinois State for 4 years.
